Opening the doors of opportunities to the younger kids in my family.
Why is being a first-generation student/graduate important to you?
I wanted to make the sacrifice my parents made in leaving their home, worth something and education is so valuable.
What piece of advice would you give to first-generation students?
Don’t stop. Even if you’re taking one class a semester at times, don’t stop.
