What does it mean to you to be a first-generation student/graduate?
Everything! Education changed my life.
Why is being a first-generation student/graduate important to you?
I was able to overcome obstacles I didn’t even know were there. I was a student when nobody talked about student success. Instead it was, look to your right, look to your left, one of you will not graduate. I thought they were talking about me.
What piece of advice would you give to first-generation students?
Find a mentor who is dedicate to your success
