Being a first-generation student means that I can influence future first-generation to strive for education.
Why is being a first-generation student/graduate important to you?
Being a first-gen is important because my parents have worked hard for us and to give back is by receiving my higher education and using it to give back to the community through architecture.
What piece of advice would you give to first-generation students?
Do what you’re most passionate about. Don’t be afraid to get involved on campus and figuring out who you are and what you are meant to do.
